Autodesk Revit 2026.5 and AutoCAD 2026.1.2 compatibility issue with MagiCAD

Autodesk Revit 2026.5 is incompatible with MagiCAD versions prior to MagiCAD 2027.
Autodesk AutoCAD 2026.1.2 is incompatible with all MagiCAD for AutoCAD versions.

After updating to Revit 2026.5 or AutoCAD 2026.1.2, MagiCAD for Revit versions prior to MagiCAD 2027 and all currently available MagiCAD for AutoCAD versions do not work. This is because the Revit and AutoCAD versions in question have upgraded to use .NET 10, as Microsoft will end support for .NET 8 in November 2026.

We are working on developing a compatible MagiCAD for AutoCAD version and will inform you as soon as one is available.

If you have updated to the Revit and AutoCAD versions above, you need to perform the following:

• Revit: Update to MagiCAD 2027 for Revit or remove your current Revit version and re-install a supported Revit 2026 version.
• AutoCAD: Remove your current AutoCAD version and re-install a supported AutoCAD 2026 version or AutoCAD 2027.

Note: An update for Revit 2025 and AutoCAD 2025 that will support .NET 10 is expected to be released in the second week of September 2026 and it will likely result in the same issue for MagiCAD users in Revit 2025 and AutoCAD 2025.
