MagiCAD Cloud Event - La Dolce Data 2026

La Dolce Data 2026

We invite MEP manufacturers to join us for La Dolce Data, a unique two-day event dedicated to the future of AI-driven dataflows and lifecycle solutions for MEP manufacturers.

As the industry embraces digital transformation, managing vast amounts of data, especially around sustainability and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) is more critical than ever. But with challenge comes opportunity.

At La Dolce Data, we bring together industry pioneers from the manufacturing domain, MEP designers, and technology leaders to explore how AI and data-driven workflows can streamline processes, enhance sustainability, and drive efficiency across the entire lifecycle of building services.

Through expert-led discussions, insightful case studies, and hands-on workshops, we will tackle one of the biggest challenges manufacturers face today: how to make smarter, faster decisions with better-connected dataflows.

What our previous guests say

Our speakers

Our speakers represent different parts of the industry and bring a combination of experience, industry knowledge, and fresh perspectives. They’ll share stories, insights, and examples from the real world, all with the aim of sparking conversations and giving you something to take back with you. More speakers will be announced so stay tuned.

Keynote Speaker – Magnus Sirén

President, ETIM International
Managing Director, LVI-INFO
(Finnish HVAC/MEP Information Organisation)

As President of ETIM International and Managing Director of LVI-INFO, Magnus Sirén works with the development of structured technical product information for the building services industry.

At La Dolce Data 2026, Magnus will explore the role of ETIM in today’s MEP industry and the benefits of standardised product data for different parts of the industry. He will look at how product data flows through the MEP supply chain, the role of national data pools as trusted sources of product information, and how ETIM supports the exchange and use of this data. He will also share what is happening within ETIM and his perspective on future developments and opportunities in product data.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet and exchange thoughts and ideas with one of the leading voices in product data standardisation within the MEP industry.

Stefano Ciprigno

Building Services Technical Director / Head of MEP Department
RIMOND

Stefano Ciprigno is Building Services Technical Director and Head of MEP Department at RIMOND, an international engineering, design and consultancy company behind complex projects across Europe and the Middle East.

The digital approach: how RIMOND bridges the gap between design intent and construction reality

Stefano will bring the designer’s perspective to the conversation, sharing how RIMOND uses structured data across MEP design, construction and beyond. He will explore what designers practically need from manufacturer data and digital product models, where today’s information gaps create challenges, and how better data can support everything from design and cost estimation to sustainability, including LCA and EPD requirements, and facility management.

He will also look ahead to AI-ready workflows, modelling automation and Digital Twins, and the role reliable product data plays in making them possible.

Speaker at MagiCAD Cloud Manufacturer event La Dolce Data 2026 - Daniel Ruckwardt_

Daniel Rückwardt

Head of Product Management, Marketing and Digitalisation
Rudolf Hensel GmbH

Daniel Rückwardt is responsible for Product Management, Marketing and Digitalisation at Rudolf Hensel GmbH, a German manufacturer of passive fire protection systems. His work focuses on BIM, digital product information, and the development of digital services that support product selection and specification processes.

At La Dolce Data 2026, Daniel will present a Revit plugin developed jointly with MagiCAD Cloud, demonstrating how structured product data and automated workflows can support the identification, selection, and modelling of fire-stopping systems directly within the design process.

Speaker at MagiCAD Cloud Manufacturer event La Dolce Data 2026 - Tobias Eckert

Tobias Eckert

Simulation Engineer, EQUA Solutions

Tobias Eckert works with building performance simulation at EQUA, a leading developer of simulation software for buildings and energy systems.

At La Dolce Data 2026, Tobias will explore why normative calculations and detailed physical simulations can produce different results, and why these differences matter for MEP design and system selection. Using MagiCAD Synergy as an example, he will show how both approaches can work together to support better-informed decisions and help manufacturers demonstrate the performance and value of their solutions.

Beyond Compliance: What Does a Building Model Really Tell Us?

A building model is never just a building model. The assumptions behind it influence the results and, ultimately, the decisions made in design and system selection.

For MEP manufacturers and designers, this becomes particularly relevant when standard calculations are used to evaluate performance, size systems or compare technical solutions. Tobias’ session will examine where normative calculations and detailed building performance simulation differ, why those differences matter in practice, and how using both perspectives can provide a more complete basis for design decisions.

For manufacturers, this can also open new ways to demonstrate product value, from improved comfort and part-load performance to lower energy use and more appropriate system sizing.

Pauli Keinonen

Product Line Director, Datahub
MagiCAD Group

Pauli Keinonen has extensive experience in the digital development of MEP design and product data at MagiCAD Group. In his current role as Product Line Director for Datahub, he focuses on how structured and connected product information can support new ways of working across the construction lifecycle.

Beyond BIM Objects: The Next Opportunity for MEP Manufacturers

As sustainability requirements, AI and digital twins continue to change the way buildings are designed and managed, the role of manufacturer data is expanding far beyond traditional BIM objects.

Pauli will explore where the next opportunities lie for MEP manufacturers: from supporting designers already in the conceptual stages of a project, to making environmental information such as EPD and LCA data easier to use in practical workflows. He will also look at why structured, machine-readable product data is becoming increasingly important for automation and AI, and how the same information can continue to create value throughout the building lifecycle.

The session will show how manufacturers can move from simply providing digital product content to making their data useful across more decisions, more workflows and more stages of a building project.

Jonas Gesenhues

Product Manager, MagiCAD Group

With a background in electrical engineering and years of experience in product management, Jonas Gesenhues focuses on making complex data useful and accessible for engineers, architects and sustainability consultants. As Product Manager for MagiCAD Cloud at MagiCAD Group, he is responsible for the platform connecting manufacturer product data with the tools designers use every day.

One Data Flow, Many Destinations: Inside the MagiCAD Cloud Platform

Every manufacturer knows the drill: a product launches, and then the real work begins, reformatting the same data again for every catalogue, every BIM object, every design tool a customer happens to use.

At La Dolce Data 2026, Jonas will show what changes when that cycle is broken. He’ll walk through how MagiCAD Cloud moves product data from manufacturer PIM systems into BIM automatically, with minimal human interaction, and what that means in practice for the teams currently doing this work by hand.

He’ll introduce the platform manufacturers use to maintain and publish their product data and show how a single source of data can enter the ecosystem through multiple different points, from manual work through to a future where manufacturers connect their own systems directly, while remaining usable across all connected services and reaching designers in the tools they already work in without extra effort on the manufacturer’s side.

A particular focus will be on environmental data: how published EPDs and LCA data flow from the product itself through to design workflows and reporting across the MagiCAD ecosystem, giving manufacturers and designers alike a clear, end-to-end view of sustainability information rather than a series of disconnected exports.

For manufacturers under growing pressure to prove sustainability credentials without growing their teams to match, this is the difference between EPD data as a box-ticking exercise and EPD data as a genuine asset.
