As the year is coming to a close it is a good time to look back on some of the highlights from what was an eventful 2019 for us at MagiCAD Group.
Becoming MagiCAD Group
The year started off with the unification of our brand under MagiCAD Group, a name that was already familiar to our customers from our software solution. This allows us to deliver “one experience” to our consumers and partners that is easily memorable, innovative, and reliable.
Steady growth
We have seen steady results from all of our markets, and have experienced significant growth in Italy, Germany, Russia and the UK. At the close of the year, there are more MagiCAD users out there than ever before, with MagiCAD being used in exciting projects, such as the Extremely Large Telescope in Chile and Helsinki central library Oodi in Finland, voted the best new library in the world.
Product milestones
MagiCAD software development also reached a significant milestone with MagiCAD 2020. The release was our largest one yet in terms of new functions and improvements, reflecting the continuous effort that is put into the development of our design software. With the launch of MagiCAD Cloud Premium we also took the first step towards providing you easily accessible online solutions to complement MagiCAD. We aim to expand our online offering and services even further in the future.
Service milestones
Our manufacturer community continued to grow and this year we completed 140 customer projects. We also introduced LOD technology to product modeling keeping us up-to-date with the latest BIM developments. Software Services also continued their great work with numerous successful projects throughout the year.
Expanding our business
We are expanding our business to offer software for the construction phase of projects and during the year we added the solutions Cubicost, MagiCAD Quantity and GSite into our product portfolio in the UK and Sweden.
Autodesk industry partner
This year we became an Autodesk AEC Industry Partner. This means that we now work more closely than ever with Autodesk to continue to integrate our MagiCAD solutions into Autodesk industry solutions, making them fully interoperable.
Connections and conversations
We were happy to talk with so many of you at many events including ISH Frankfurt, Batimat Paris, SAIE Bologna, BIM World Munich and CIBSE London. Meeting existing and future MagiCAD customers is always a particular highlight for us.
All in all, 2019 was a year of new ventures, exciting events and positive developments. From all of us at MagiCAD Group, thank you for a memorable 2019 and looking forward to next year!
