Helsinki’s new central library Oodi, with its glass and steel structures and wooden facade, is the capital city’s newest landmark. In no time at all, it has quickly become a popular meeting place and event venue. The ultra-modern, energy efficient library is a showcase of architectural and engineering expertise.
Yüksel Proje, the largest engineering company in Turkey, has done both design and consultation work on metro and tram lines and stations in Istanbul, as well as globally (India, Algeria, Romania, Turkey and more) since 1992, covering over 334 km of lines and 213 stations over the years. They are currently involved in the mechanical, structural, architectural and electrical design for the Istanbul Metropolitan Area section of Istanbul’s rail transit system network. MagiCAD Electrical for Revit has helped them cope with the demands of such a considerable undertaking.
In June 2019 construction began on the new Odense University Hospital in the city of Odense in southern Denmark. The design company ATIproject, based in Pisa, Italy, together with construction companies CMB and Itinera, designed the first two parts of the hospital. Thanks to the comprehensive adoption of BIM methodology, ATIproject, together with the other project parties, succeeded in realizing a complex project with over 400,000 digital objects in place already in the intermediate delivery phase.

Läppstiftet (‘The Lipstick’) in Gothenburg was designed by Ralph Erskine and is one of Sweden’s most recognizable buildings from the 1980s.
