Derry Ltd offers full design and installation capabilities for Mechanical and Electrical Building Services. Based in Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire, Derry carry out Mechanical and Electrical Services engineering nationwide, from inception to providing full coordinated installation information for the construction team.
In recent years, Derry have made significant investments to implement 3D design technology and to support industry requirements for BIM. Today they offer a true multidisciplinary approach to design development and coordination.

The Solution
From the beginning of 2015, Derry has used MagiCAD Piping, MagiCAD Ventilation and MagiCAD Electrical modules with Autodesk Revit MEP.

MagiCAD allows faster coordination through improved routing and connection tools, and enables easy display of single line pipework using industry standards for different elevations. These provide a huge advantage over out-of-the-box Revit”, says Mark.
