eelectron KNX presence detectors now available in MagiCAD Cloud

We are excited to welcome a new brand to MagiCAD Cloud: eelectron. For over 25 years, Italian brand eelectron has been at the forefront of developing KNX systems and building automation solutions. Styrgrossisten, a Swedish KNX wholesaler, introduces eelectron products to MagiCAD ecosystem for electrical designers.

KNX refers to an intelligent automation system that connects building’s devices and enables seamless communication between them. The KNX presence detectors can deduce the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. They can be connected with NTC temperature probes, which allows sending temperature readings over the bus or controlling a full thermostat module. In multisensory version, the humidity sensor measures the humidity in the air and helps control humidifiers and dehumidifiers. The detectors can also include brightness sensors through which the device manages the ambient lighting based on the measured illuminance.

Designers will be delighted with the expanded range of electrical products now available on MagiCAD Cloud. These new BIM objects are available for MagiCAD for AutoCAD, MagiCAD for BricsCAD, and MagiCAD for Revit.
