Finnish manufacturer HELA joins MagiCAD Cloud with selected valves

Heikki Laiho Oy (HELA) is one of the leading manufacturers of water fittings in the Nordic countries. The family business, founded in 1967, is located in Noormarkku near the town of Pori in Finland. We are delighted to share that HELA joins MagiCAD ecosystem with valve database thus extending part of their product offering for MEP designers.

HELA excels in integrating functionality, reliability, and economic efficiency into their product offering. Their primary raw material, dezincification-hardened brass, is exceptionally well-suited for application in drinking water system components. This brass successfully combats corrosion issues stemming from the aggressive soil and water conditions prevalent in Finland and northern Europe, thus ensuring the longevity and integrity of the water supply network.

HELA’s new product database consists of water meter valves, non-return valves, and other components. The valves are suitable for domestic water pipes for cold, geothermal, and hot water systems. The backflow valves can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipes, but they require opening pressure of at least 0.2 bar. MagiCAD for AutoCAD and MagiCAD for Revit users can access the BIM objects directly in MagiCAD.
