New GB compliant pipe series available for MEP designers

We have recently released our first Chinese GB (Guobiao) Standards compliant pipe series in the MagiCAD Cloud BIM platform. The new pipe series supports the growing demand for localized content and enhances the efficiency of MEP design workflows for professionals working in Revit and operating under Chinese standards.

MagiCAD GB pipe series

The Chinese GB (Guobiao) Standards cover a wide range of sectors, including construction, manufacturing, and engineering, ensuring consistency, safety, and quality in materials and products. GB standards are categorized into three main types: Mandatory national standards (GB), recommended national standards (GB/T) and guidance technical documents (GB/Z).

The MagiCAD GB pipe series provides a comprehensive selection of pipe components in a range of sizes with accompanying fittings, such as bends, reducers, plugs, branches, and flanges. All products in the pipe series have been modelled to a level of detail suitable for demanding BIM projects.

MagiCAD pipe series are developed with the goal of easing designers’ workload and enabling better quality models. When you use the ready-made pipe series in MagiCAD Cloud, there is no need to search for different fittings for each situation as this work has been done already when compiling the pipe series.
