Leadership update at MagiCAD Group

After a decade of committed leadership, our Managing Director, Jukka Nyman, has decided to step down from his role for personal reasons.

Jukka was the first Managing Director appointed from outside MagiCAD Group’s founding team. During his tenure, he led the company through a period of significant growth and development.

Reflecting on his time with the company, Jukka says:

When I joined MagiCAD Group in 2015, it was already a good company and over the past ten years, it has become even stronger and more mature. But above all, this company has always been about its people. I ‘m proud of what we have achieved together, and I’m grateful for the trust, collaboration, and spirit that define MagiCAD Group.

We are pleased to announce that Petteri Laakso has taken on the role of Managing Director as of 1 February 2026.
Petteri brings nearly ten years of experience at MagiCAD Group. He has led the Designer Business Unit since 2018 and previously served as 
Commercial Director from 2016 to 2018. Since October 2025, he has served as Acting Managing Director.
