Bevent Rasch launches the first-ever MagiCAD for BricsCAD plugin

Bevent Rasch, a leading Swedish manufacturer in the ventilation industry, has released the first-ever MagiCAD for BricsCAD plugin. This new plugin seamlessly integrates Bevent Rasch’s product selection tool, DIMENSIO, with MagiCAD for BricsCAD, enabling MEP designers to directly access and implement Bevent Rasch’s high-quality ventilation solutions into their BricsCAD projects.

A new chapter for MagiCAD for BricsCAD

BricsCAD is a design software developed by Bricsys, a part of Hexagon AB. Since 2023, MagiCAD Group is an official reseller of BricsCAD, which allows MagiCAD Group to provide both BricsCAD and MagiCAD for BricsCAD to their customers as a complete solution.

MagiCAD for BricsCAD offers an affordable and user-friendly option for MEP design. Manufacturer products that are available as BIM objects in MagiCAD Cloud in DXF format, are automatically available for all MagiCAD for BricsCAD users. The release of this plugin is a milestone for both Bevent Rasch and MagiCAD Group, as it represents the first plugin for the BricsCAD platform. Previously available on MagiCAD for AutoCAD, this plugin brings greater functionality now also to MagiCAD for BricsCAD users.

Bevent Rasch MagiCAD Plugin simplifies MEP design with streamlined product selection and integration

Bevent Rasch has had MagiCAD Cloud Plugin for AutoCAD available since 2019. The new plugin brings the same functionalities now to MagiCAD for BricsCAD. With the new Bevent Rasch MagiCAD Cloud Plugin, MEP professionals can now easily select from a broad range of Bevent Rasch products, including roof cowls, silencers, and combination roof cowls, and insert them directly into their MagiCAD for BricsCAD projects. DIMENSIO, Bevent Rasch’s trusted product selection tool, brings its efficient product-selection process directly into the MagiCAD for BricsCAD environment. This tool will save designers valuable time while ensuring precise and compatible product integration, directly contributing to more streamlined project workflows.

One of the unique features of the plugin is its capability to incorporate combination roof cowls, designed to pair roof cowls with roof inlets, into a single product package. When using the plugin, a combination cowl can be imported together with a roof inlet. This enhancement allows for simplified insertion and integration and provides additional connectors for connecting the cowl to outdoor system, making it easier than ever for MEP designers to create efficient ventilation setups.
