Based on the information brought from the project, the selection tool offers functional and ETA-approved options, from which the user can choose the best solution for their project. Adding BIM objects to the project is possible with one click. Hilti Firestop for BIM automatically adjusts or optimizes the size provision of voids allowances based on the selected firestop products. The added objects contain the necessary information for preparing a firestop plan as well as object-specific information that supports quantity calculation.

The Hilti Firestop for BIM -modeling tool supports firestop planning by providing a tool with which firestop solutions can be easily defined and added as part of information modeling to functional and ETA-approved firestop solutions based on the information obtained from the project. The detailed drawings needed for the firestop plan can be downloaded from the selection tool, and the product objects created through the selection tool are automatically linked to the firestop details.
