Viega has expanded and updated its BIM objects in MagiCAD Cloud to provide designers and engineers with improved support for building projects. The update introduces new product ranges and extends existing ones, thereby improving both coverage and usability in BIM-based design workflows.

Expanding the product range based on market needs

The latest update focuses on extending Viega’s available product range in MagiCAD Cloud to better meet market needs, particularly in the Nordic region.

“The Temponox piping system was launched in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in 2025. At the same time, customers frequently requested Easytop system valves, which enable complete pipe installations with pipes, connectors, and valves”, says Jens Röcher.

The update includes:

– Megapress and Megapress S piping systems, with new families and completed product ranges

-Temponox piping system, newly added

-Easytop system valves, newly added

Supporting accurate MEP design workflows

Accurate and up-to-date BIM objects help designers to better reflect real products in their models, reducing clashes, late changes, and on-site adjustments during MEP design and coordination.

Viega also considers the continued development of digital product data to be essential for the future:
