MagiCAD Group has appointed Samuel Lyredal the new Managing Director of MagiCAD Group AB. Samuel has started in his new role in August 2022 and comes to the company from Nordic BIM Group AB (earlier Nolliplan AB).

MagiCAD Group AB is the Swedish subsidiary of MagiCAD Group, well-known in the Swedish market for the MEP design software MagiCAD, with clients including WSP and Ramboll. The company also offers digitalisation services to a large customer group of MEP product manufacturers and has recently broadened its offering to construction project management with the product Gsite.

The building industry is currently in an exciting phase where digitalisation is taking entirely new steps and Samuel’s previous experience and industry insight will help to further strengthen MagiCAD’s team in Sweden.

“I am excited that a person with a strong industry background is taking up the leading position in MagiCAD Group AB. Samuel is the right person to continue the subsidiary’s great work according to our mission—We help create better buildings—and to support our growth and expand our business in the Swedish market. I am convinced that our market-leading position there will become even stronger in the future,” says Jukka Nyman, CEO, MagiCAD Group.

Samuel has many years of experience in the building industry with companies such as Skanska and JM. At JM his roles included Marketing and Sales Manager, and he was a part of JM’s digitalization process working with Smart Homes, VR and AR.

“I am very happy and proud of the trust to lead MagiCAD Group AB’s journey of continued development. The company has a long and successful history and I look forward to further strengthening our position as a market-leader. The building industry as a whole still has a lot of work to do regarding digitalisation and MagiCAD Group has a wide range of strong products to offer the market. This gives us the opportunity to help both existing and new customers become even stronger. I’m really looking forward to getting to know our employees and customers so we can work together for a more efficient and sustainable construction industry,” says Samuel Lyredal.
