We started using MagiCAD in 2006 and right from the start it became the main design tool for HVAC projects”, says Daníel Gíslason at Verkís’ Reykjavik office.

”MagiCAD saves time during the design process and improves design quality by offering collision control, bills of materials, system calculation and other features.

The fact that we are using MagiCAD for Revit made it possible to minimize the training period when moving into the Revit environment for HVAC and electrical design. We were able to make good use of our experiences from working with MagiCAD for AutoCAD. The MagiCAD product database is also present in the Revit version, as well as the familiar MagiCAD environment.

At the moment we are using MagiCAD Heating & Piping, Ventilation, Electrical for both AutoCAD and Revit. We are also using MagiCAD Sprinkler for AutoCAD.

Our recent and current projects include public schools, two hydroelectric power stations, two aluminium smelters, office buildings, a church and some private homes.”
